About Me
I was introduced to the Ren Faire world in 1999. That fall I went to Michigan, Ohio, and the last of the fall Faires for Georgia. Since then Kimberly and I have been to Tennesse, Carolina (the one at Huntersville, NC), Oklahomah, and Kentuckey. We hope to soon add Maryland to our list.
Well it is over for another year. We didn't get to go as often as we would have liked this year, but we still ha d agreat time when we went. Yesterday we actually were there from open to close and for the first time we were at the Brewers Pub for the end of the day pub sing. It really was a lot of fun. I am sure it becomes like a little family with all the ones that are there all the time, both cast and patrons, and you could tell that some were a little sad that it was time to move along until next season. We will definately have to make sure to be there more often next year. For now its off to planning for the next event for us. I think we are going to try and go up to North Carolina this October for one weeken of CRF. We have been there a few times and the variaty of new acts and shows to watch is nice. And if we plan right, we have free rooming, always a plus!
Well here we are back again. We did have a wonderful day at Faire yesterday. The Lady Kimberly finally found the pair of boots from Son of Sandlar she wanted, the right style, the right colors, the right fit...picky women...Hahaha. She also finally bought a Mareska bodice. She has wanted one forever I think. She wore it all day Sunday and she loves it. So, we invest a little more money into the Renaissance Faire addiction. I don't know that we will make iy back until the final weekend this year, so I hope everyone else that gets to visit has a wonderful time as we do.
Let me be the first to welcome you to Renspace! GARF is less than a month away! Oh, crap, less than a month, I've got to get sewing!
